Designer Bio-tech Organ Implants - Is it too much to have an actual heart of Gold?

By Aidelyn Neuman

From emerald crusted lungs to shiny leopard skin stomachs, “Glitz for Bits” a new biotech organ interior company is bestowing us with the most lavish collection of internal organs.

The public demand for their new collection was unforeseen. Who knew so many people were invested in their “internal” appearance, literally.

But apparently, they are. It seems that these gem-adorned heart consumers view these organs much as one would view wearing an elegant nightgown or pretty pajamas to bed.  Yes, few people see them in their lounging attire, and yet they like to look good for themselves. By that same logic, why not invest in a half-mechanical black diamond-studded spleen. Especially if you were gonna get a bio-mechanical one anyway. Why not glitz it up?

We asked Pozzy Lin, one of the first fashionistas to make the switch, why she decided to get so many of her organs replaced with designer bio-tech organs, which were all lined with red rubies;

“I think it’s really important to invest in your inner beauty. It’s like Pablo Neruda said, ‘The moon lives in the lining of your skin’.” Lin replied.

Kudos for knowing that quote, but we don’t think that’s what he meant, Pozzy. But we do get why feeling a bit fancy even just for yourself would be important. So why not, go for it!! Next time you need to switch to a mechanical organ, make it shiny and extravagant. Be your own shrine.
