Black History Month is Celebrated All Across the Solar System

By M.B. Alexander

Black people have endured many injustices and personal tragedies through the centuries. This month is Black History Month, and we, the galactic citizens of 2171, want to take this opportunity to acknowledge both the suffering and the achievements of black people in our pocket of the galaxy.

There have been endless black scientists, doctors, and social leaders that have contributed to the advancement of humanity and to our arrival to the blooming space era we are all currently enjoying. But in the spirit of The Intergalactic Space Chronicle, we would like to mention some recent history from the decades leading to 2171.

Of course, there is the Obama dynasty that birthed leaders both in the political realm, in science and space exploration. Ann Michel Obama III lead the first terraforming teams on Mars.

The first co-op Black Legacy space-craft is a communal space expedition, which has delivered endless discoveries to humanity and signed several treaties on our behalf with alien nations that they have encountered on their path.

Hybrid Bio Android Nel Degrassi Tyson III, is still bringing humanity groundbreaking research. Among his many discoveries is his essential role in discovering self rejuvenating bio germ fuel, which has allowed humanity to venture into vast parts of space and reach parts of the galaxy we could have never reached before

In the field of music, black artists have always sphereheaded countless innovations to sound and the way we listen to music. Velvet Carter West Bowlly was one of the first to collaborate with advanced android artists, and she is now leading a music collaboration with the Vorta alien species.

From cloning to nano-technology, bio-engineering to Ai, black individuals are at the forefront, changing humanity for the better. Black lives have always mattered, and in the many decades that have passed, they made our lives more worth living, together in unity and harmony.

This month we celebrate the black community and support it fully in all its future endeavors.
