Pleasant Bots and Pure Tech Bots were rather excited when an old antique aircraft landed from the sky. A woman claiming to be the lost Amelia Earhart stepped out of the machine, along with a man named Fred Noonan.

 

The two seemed confused as they looked up at a cluttered sky filled with various hovering aircrafts; many of which were anchored over cities to be close to recourses during the current virus of 2170.

 

Miss Earhart was born in 1897, which would make her quite elderly according to our calculation.  But the still visibly young woman was only thirty-nine-years-old according to her bio scans.

 

The famous Amelia Earhart was the first female aviator to fly over the Atlantic. She set many records and wrote many bestselling books. But she disappeared during an attempt to make a circumnavigational flight of the globe in 1937.

 

Miss Earhart and Mr. Noonan were perhaps somewhat petrified when they were greeted with our tech entities. So much so that they locked themselves back in the old plane, even though the Pleasant Bots put on their best smiles yet.

 

Citizens in masks that were passing by tried to help the confused duo, but it seems that their odd masks only further scared them. Apparently, eyeball masks and elephant nose masks were not a common thing in their era.

 

But we must have compassion and patience with these old travelers, after all, the most advanced device they’ve ever encountered is the one they’ve have locked themselves in.

 

We have so many questions to ask them: did they transfer here accidentally through a time portal?  Were they abducted by aliens and returned to the wrong time destination? How much time had passed for them? Did they know Coco Chanel?

 

For now, perhaps, we should just ask them if they would like something old from our food churners? Or maybe an endless caviar lollypop to comfort them?
